Memoir

NAME: ABBY CROWLEY
DATE:
JOB TITLE: FOUNDER OF PERSAY, CONNOISSEUR OF GREAT GIFTS

Abby and I have been Internet friendly for years. So how serendipitous when we discovered we were both scheming businesses of our own circa 2022 -- her, Persay and me, The Memo, of course. It was hugely helpful to have a sounding board going through the same (sometimes crazy) motions -- finding web developers, exploring PR agencies, pinning down launch timelines. Persay went live in January in an effort to communicate her message that gifting is an art that should be embraced year-round.

Gift it your all.

Still, there's no denying that everyone's gifting game is in full force right here, right now. So what better time to introduce you to my dear friend and fierce founder, Abby Crowley?

Without further ado...

SHOW US ONE OF YOUR LATEST SCREENSHOTS. WHAT MADE IT SING FOR YOU?

My husband and I host a big holiday party annually and this year I’m really into the idea of decorating with citrus. Not groundbreaking by any means, but certainly new for me. I love the arrangement @sarahledermaninteriors has here. Kumquats? Whatever they are, they’re lovely.

On your Buy Again on Amazon.

Lint rollers, LOL. We got a puppy in February of this year and while he’s absolutely adorable and I’m whole heartedly obsessed with him, he sheds… a lot.

Meet Mottie!

A color combination lighting you up.

Pretty much anything Anna from @theroundsnyc dreams up. Cookies or art? You tell me!

Stay tuned for Fin Fellowe's products appearing in an upcoming Christmas paper products Memo.

Fin Fellowes shares her wrapping paper tips and tricks in this reel with Liberty. It would be a dream to carry or collab with her wrapping paper brand, Kensington Paperie.

How do you remember things?

Write them down! I am known to swipe hotel pens and stationery and that’s typically what I use.

Santa, please?

Recipe you have written down or flagged in a cookbook.

In the Fall/Winter it’s either the Baked Kale recipe by @justinesnacks or the NYT Cauli Halloumi Salad recipe. Both are weekly staples in my house!

Tell me about a memorable gift you've given or received.

My then boyfriend, now husband, got me Poetry of Place by Bobby McAlpine along with a beautiful serving bowl for my birthday the first year we were dating. He gave both to me along with a note saying he couldn’t wait to build a life and home with me. We had only been dating for two months but when you know, you know!
