In the last year, Julia founded her own PR agency after nearly a decade as a partner at New York's SB&A. She specializes in artisan-driven brands, makers and innovative interior design talent. Her client roster includes the likes of Annie Sloan, Marc Phillips and OKA.
Her most recent client addition? Little lady Lily, who she and her husband Brady welcomed this September in Houston.

City guides. I write everything into a shared note to retrace my whereabouts and document my favorite restaurants, sites, shops. I then pass them along to friends to add to. My most recents are Lisbon and Copenhagen, and somehow LA is always evolving.

Google Calendar - all synced to my phone, so with me for good or bad, wherever I go.

Red Beans & Rice. Easy, filling and tastes like home.

I love the New Yorker cartoons. The one of a Rigatoni noodle on the phone saying "Fusilli, you crazy bastard! How are you?" Or...two men looking up at the witch flying on her broom in the night's sky, muttering "Yikes! Powerful women scare me!" They get me every time.
What do you want people to remember about you?
Being a good person, advocating for others. Everything eventually fades, so it's about how you make people feel.
