Comfort is king -- is it not?
I've owned my multicolor New Balances for five years (pictured above & linked below) and get countless compliments every time I sport them. As NB is known for, they're supremely comfortable, but they also infuse my personality to an otherwise throw-something-on, toddler-chasing ensemble. I call them my 'happy sneaks' and am hereby making my case that everyone should own a pair.
Admittedly, some of these links are secondhand (so one size) or have one to two sizes left. To me, that speaks to the popularity of the styles. And if you're not typically a multicolor person, I think it's the perfect way to dip out of your comfort zone. They feel nostalgic in the best way and are sure to brighten a drab January day.
