Memo No.002

From the moment we start scrambling the morning eggs to the time we wipe down the final spatula after dinner, we turn to our trusty utensil canister time after time, day after day.
One of the most complimented objects in my home is our utensil canister. I bought it at a secondhand shop called Miss Pixie's during our summer in D.C. It was a dozen dollars and instantly added a hominess to our pre-furnished rental in Dupont Circle. It traveled all the way back to Houston with us and carries sweet sentiment from that one-of-a-kind summer out East.
This is, easily, one of the types of items I'd encourage you to put boots on the ground and rummage for at your local consignment shop. Any vase or vessel with the right height and roominess will do! Half the fun is the hunt. But, if you happen to fancy something scrolling here, we're happy to be of service.
Half the fun is the hunt.
