SUBJECT: Lunchy meals to break your fast
Most of us have heard the protein hype and have likely forgone the intermittent fasting fad. Especially those in my cohort: us young moms are acutely aware of the importance of nourishing, fuel-giving breakfasts. I took a deep dive on the Glucose Goddess a year or so ago and started to investigate alternative options for my first meal outside of the standard American breakfast.
While many of the featured recipes still have eggs as their main protein source, each has a new spin beyond toast and avocado. I personally love a savory oat and am intrigued by incorporating Thai flavors to an ordinary omelet.
Bygone is the era of boring breakfasts.
